Membership and Membership Application

pembroke welsh corgi

Membership in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Rockies is open to all persons eighteen years of age and older. Candidates for membership must be in good standing with the American Kennel Club and subscribe to the objectives and purposes of this Club as stated in the Articles of Incorporation. While the Club’s primary purpose is to represent breeders, exhibitors, and fanciers in the immediate area, membership is not restricted to residence in Colorado or even the Rocky Mountain area.

To apply for membership in the Club: the applicant fills out the attached membership application, agreeing to abide by the Club’s Constitution/By-Laws and Code of Ethics and the rules of the American Kennel Club.  The applicant must obtain the signatures of two current PWCCR member sponsors, and then mail the application form together with dues payable for the current year to the Treasurer.  Dues are $30.00 for a family membership and $25.00 for an individual membership. Persons only interested in subscribing to the Club’s newsletter and not joining the Club will be charged $15.00. All new applications are filed with the Corresponding Secretary who reads the names of prospective members at the first meeting of the Club following receipt of the application. At the next Club meeting the application will be voted upon. Applicants must be approved by a majority of the regular members present and voting. Questions about membership and the application process should be directed to the Corresponding Secretary.
