Club Objectives​

The Goals of the PWCCR

To Rescue, rehabilitate and rehome Pembroke Welsh Corgis.

To encourage and promote quality in the breeding of purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgis and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

To urge members and breeders to accept the breed standard approved by the American Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which the Pembroke Welsh Corgi shall be judged.

To do all in its power to protect and advance the best interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows and obedience trials

To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows and obedience trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club and to conduct matches, educational events and other functions of interest to the membership.

To encourage the membership to abide by the Code of Ethics

To promote fellowship, helpfulness, and mutual sharing of knowledge and experience among Club members.
